Rooms

The Whetstone has guest rooms to suit a wide variety of tastes and budgets. Some rooms feature private baths and queen-sized beds, others have twin beds and shared hall baths. One or two rooms feature their own kitchen — perfect for longer stays.

However, our rooms are equally notable for what they lack. You won’t find televisions, telephones, radios or other such modern entrapments, but we do offer high-speed wireless internet throughout the inn. Our rooms are perfectly suited to getting away from it all — generously stocked with classic books to peruse while you let the worries of modern life slip away.

The rooms are furnished with an eclectic mix of antique and modern furniture. Some pieces have been crafted by local artisans, whose nearby studios are often open for weekend visits.

Room		Description
A		Our sole first-floor guest room features an antique double bed and a private bath with a shower.
D		Located on the northwest corner of the second floor, D is a favorite for families because it comfortable sleeps four in two twin beds and an original, 250-year-old double colonial wall bed. This room features a private bath with a shower and a non-working fireplace.
E		On the northeast corner of the second floor, E is a perfect room for extended stays as it features a large full kitchen and an full-size tub in the private bathroom. E sleeps two in twin beds.
F		Located on the southeast corner of the second floor, F is bathed in glorious sunlight in the mornings from four beautiful pane glass windows. This room features a queen bed and private bath with shower.
G		This room is a great option for travelers on a budget who don’t want to compromise. On the south side of the second floor, G features a double bed and has it’s own bathroom with full-size tub which is located across the hallway from the room. Bathrobes included!
HB		Our second queen bed room is on the southwest corner of the second floor and has a beautiful non-working fireplace and a private bath with shower. This room is also a great option for families as it can be optionally rented with a smaller attached room featuring two twin beds. This option isn’t available online — call us to inquire about adding the second room.
