The inn serves breakfasts daily and dinners on certain weekends and upon request.
Breakfast
The traditional morning eggs and bacon are supplemented by waffles and pancakes, with Vermont’s best maple syrup, popovers, home made muffins, and seasonal fresh fruits.
Breakfast is included in the room price. If you are not staying with us, but would like to eat breakfast at the inn, we ask that you make a reservation at (802) 254-2500 or info@whetstoneinn.com at least one day in advance. Breakfasts for those not staying at the inn are $17.50/person, $7.50/child under 12.
Dinner
In the evening, such dinner entrees as roast pork, leg of lamb, chicken, veal and fish, variously prepared, are set off by fine soups — cheddar cheese, corn chowder, Senegalese, avocado — and by desserts ranging from maple mousse, brandy alexander pie and chocolate roll to meringues, ice cream, sauces and chocolate soufflé — all homemade, which is the feel of the Inn.
Dinners are served on concert nights during the Marlboro Music Festival and by special request for groups of six or more during other times of the year.
Dinners have a single seating time and a prix fixe menu ($60) is served. We do not have a liquor license, so alcoholic libations are strictly BYOB.
